Of Two Lands

Germany. Where I’m from but no longer belong. Left years ago but it still shows up in how I see things. These images are about the split – German-born, London-based, never fully one or the other. The duality that shapes how I photograph strangers here: the distance that lets me observe, the longing that makes me ask.
